Fast Map Downloads

Thanks to a good bit of effort by Grounded, we've gotten the "sv_downloadurl" cvar set up. For those of you who don't know what that is; it's a (relatively) new feature in Steam that allows players to download maps from a web server instead of the old fashioned "trickle" download from the game server that you are used to seeing in-game. This means that custom maps being played on CSR will now download as fast as your connection will allow. For you broadbanders, that should be pretty darn fast. There's nothing you need to configure to make this work either-- it's all built in to the game.
upc and b4 are currently the only customs on the server but any of the ones that were recently cut can be reinstated (if you want to) since they're all already set up on the web server.
If you want to try this for yourself and already have upc and b4 just delete the upc bsp (it's only like 1 meg) and then join next time you see it on. Mine clocked in at 45 secs 
The banner is a bit ropey I know but I just made it to actually see if it would work.

this works great I used it to download B4 and with my cable connection it only took 35 seconds!

Here's an idea:
Put something in the server name that suggests we have fast downloads, so if we are on a custom map, it increases the chance that we get some public traffic.
ie. CSReloaded: Phoenix || Fast D/L!

That is awesome. Everybody should be requesting to play these maps. The one's I've played are jammin' and the others I'm sure are just as good.
I'm soo turbo pissed about the lack of batcave. That is such an amazing map.

Heh, its nothing special...but it is growing on me. I believe it's modeled after rainbow 6 (hence r6). There is another version of the map with full health. Would that be better?

except that information is wrong, as ive started off with as low as 15 health and as high as 50. thats a couple shots difference.

1. I'm pretty sure the reason it's set up the way it is is because if you use game_player_hurt or trigger_hurt ents to trigger damage then if the map was full, all players would trigger the damage simultaneously on round start and the server would crash. I think he found a neat, if compromised, solution.
2. A lot of his maps are cool in the sense that they're both original and complicated, but some of them tread in tasteless territory...
