Pilot run of 'You Choose' night

At the end of next week we're going to try a night where one of our members picks four maps for us to play on the server. The maps will be played consecutively starting at around 6pm EST on Thursday 27th. Each will last roughly 15 minutes. The maps for this week are:

I think I was in last place on my team and LOVED every bit of it! I love the flashes and your franticly stabbing blindly hoping somebody runs into your knife! Then it starts to clear and you realize you have three health even though you had 100 when you could see. This is not the worst of it realizing somebody stabbed you while you were blind maybe two of em. Only to realize you ar falling of the bridge and it not a long drop but you know its gonna do some damage. As you are falling and praying it will only do two damage your seeing a mate of yours surrounded by three bad guys! You hit the ground and due to all the stab wounds all the rest of your blood squirts out from the impact! Eni's dead and all he can do is laugh and laugh hard!

Overall I think the event went well last night it was fun, and I like Remy more every time I play it.

Since this is about another mates night you should be polite enough to play all the maps and just try and have some fun. Instead you sit out like a little cry baby and pout that this map stinks. The reality of why you and I do not get along and past things I have seen you do. The reality Surgeon is your attiude here at CSR I believe is not in ALL of our best intrest but mostly yours. I can not believe you are going to be second to have map night after me when it was MY IDEA! I have to really laugh at that one! If I were running the show it would be for Regulars not ADMINS at first, pump up YOUR COMMUNITY, show the REGULARS name give them a little light and they will come! Grounded thanks for the time last night it was really cool and I really appreciate it and all who were involved. I know some maps probably were not their favorite but come on we are all getting bored of the same maps! Yeah some do not play well but it's a change of scenery, new places to hide or attack or defend! I was top dog on three maps, really two but a couple flashes made Surgeon go to the other side and BAM Eni was on top! Why was I on top because I had the maps memorized I have been playing them for years, no none of em maybe twice if that! We sometimes scream out hack because guys cut us down so quick. It is because they know the map like the back of thier hand, every spot, every noise everything. That does not mean your a better shot or player!
Anyways my rant will stop here, I was glad to see people last night like Kaoz, Zool and even Druz though I agree with Kaoz no need for the ranting we are trying to get people to come! I wish we had friendly fire on like big boys do in the real world, make for a better game play. I can go to other servers and get that but I like sseing Zeusy, JB, Grounded, and even some new guys like Seek and Vision. It is like family here now that i have stuck around and with Family you just have to find away sometime to get along even if you don't like your brother!
Again I will repeat make the next Regular night a non admin, when you run out of them which will be pretty quickly then make it Admin maps night. Skip thnaks for the help last night also and man if Ship fight does not deserve to be in the regular rotation why was the Flying Circus so popolar! The look out post and running along shooting people man that was fun! All of you crying about shooting peolpe in the water come on you could in real life, the person still can be crafty and swin under boat. Dudes it's like fishing!

I'm disappointed that this seems to be turning into another opportunity for a flame fest. Can't we just go with if you don't have anything nice to say about someone don't say it? I don't care who started it either, it doesn't matter. I'm tired of the personal attacks both in game and in these forums.

Skippy needs a hug, No wait he left work early again to go sleding! I agree and agree sugar is better than spice!
Admins can play whatever maps they want is the point though. I am not saying I do not want to see Admins favorite maps. I was just suggesting taking care of the little guys first and then let the admins go or maybe one admin a month night, Porter i never see you so I will take your night anytime as a matter of fact you being next would be cool.

If no one has any objections we can make this a twice-weekly thing - otherwise it'll be a month before Zeus or anyone else besides SG and Skip gets their pick! I have no problem doing this (and Skip et al did well last night orchestrating map changes and tsay mapchange warnings +ggz) and most of the maps suggested so far are already loaded on the server, making things even easier for me

So if we are going to do it twice a week what should the other night be?
Actually I'm going to tell you what night.
I'll do mine tomorrow. at 6pm est.
If a non-admin reg wants my spot please speak up and I'll be happy to let you choose the maps.
*EDIT* I just realized SG was supposed to be next so if he wants Tues than I'll take Thursday.

Tuesday and Thursday are a bit close together no? Unless of course you can only be around on certain nights Skip. All those maps are already on fast download thankfully, although maybe you chose them that way in which case you are my new best friend

Well Mondays I play volleyball every other Wednesday I play D&D (yes the book and dice version) and I go to the mountains most every weekend in the winter to snowmobile. So this week Tues and Thurs are my only 2 nights. Where I can be certain to get some CS in.

Hmmm, Sunday is out of the question since there the Superbowl is on. Friday I have to work, so no chance there. Saturday is my only free day and I might actually want to do something other than stare at a computer screen. So really whatever works best, as long as it's not the weekend.
I think a better question is why do I see surf maps on the server?
