Map Night - Zeus's Choice

This week's random map assortment comes courtesy of Zeus, and a random assortment it is indeed:
Thursday 17th Feb., 6pm EST
All the maps are on the server with the possible exception of de_dust4 - it will be up before Thursday. You can download cs_reloaded_b4 in advance from the downloads page:

Ok I deleted the last 4 messages because they had approximately 0% relevant content Back to topic - as Skip mentioned above next week's map night is wide open for anyone who wants it (and hasn't already had a pick). If no one can come up with 4 maps they want to play before then I'll make it my choice. And you reaaaallly don't want that to happen

Nah I have plenty good ones by other mappers in the vaults Once remy is done I might try and rework my rather limp 52hours competition entry into a playable map though...

I was actually wondering if I could make up a page somewhere on the site that collected pics and download links for all the maps I've 'released' so far, just for convenience sake. I could do it in a forum thread but they tend to get forgotten, even with stickies.

Without question, you've got it.
Do you know HTML at all? CSS? PHP?
...actually, it doesn't matter. Come up with whatever you want to say, and I can either turn it into a page here for you, or teach you enough of how the site backend works so you can do it yourself.

I have reasonable HTML/CSS knowledge but not a thing about PHP. It wouldn't be anything complicated - just one page with the maps listed and a pic and dl link where appropriate for each. Plus some inane commentary of course

Just give me the HTML that would be inside your <body> tags, using the styles I listed above (the entire list of styles available to you is right here) and I'll show you how to put that into the PHP framework page. It's actually really easy-- I designed it that way. All I ask is that you avoid putting ANY stylistic elements in your HTML directly. Never use the <font> tag, for example.

mmm my favorite kind.
Make sure you name the approaches to the bombsites for Remy like we discussed. Fountain (for on the way to B) and courtyard with the latticework, patio furniture, umbrella and wine bottles ( for on the way to A) Fountain seems to have caught on but 4 some reason I can't get people to start using the other one.

Why don•t we give grounded a new section on the forums where only he can post. then every time he had a map he can post it normally with screen shots, map info, dl link and b/c its part of the forums he can put up a vote in that post for that map to rank it out of 5
and to add to that people can post what they think about the map

Well I'm not going to be posting any other new maps any time soon, and generally the Mapper's Delight forum is fine for that anyway, I just wanted somewhere to archive what already exists. A page is nicer than a forum thread IMO

Thanks for the maps it was fun! I say de_52leon & cs_reloaded_b4, should go into our rotation! A lot of us are getting bored with the current map rotation!
Could we have a certain night of the week be Friendly Fire Off, like what ever night now is infamously slow. See if we bring more people in and give it a month or two to get some stas? A bunch of us regulars and even newer guys like Stan and Toby really would like to have a night with it off.

Heh, I was referring to the book, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams. The Bugblatter beast believes that if you can't see him, he can't see you, so all you have to do is cover your eyes and he won't eat you.

This is the first time i had to remake my account. It came as a shock to me. World of Warcraft has taken my life, maybe i should join one of their forums. I decided to see how everyone was doing on csr. Although I have only had the energy to read this thread.
