Survivor discussion

this is kinda "traditional" at csr mainly for ribsy and i but for others as well to throw in some comments about survivor. ribs and i are usually the only ones that type essays to describe our opinions/reactions, but hey its a damn good show!! i'll start off
let me start off by saying that i hate rob. he is a slimey coniving jerk who is selfish and a big jackass. however, he is playing the game the best. he is playing both sides of the fence and surprisingly has not been caught yet. he used deana to take out rodger and dave, then he turned around and took her out. then he saw the writing on the wall, mainly pointed out by alex who possibly said the dumbest thing in the world. Rob saw that when it came down to rob, alex, heidi, and jenna, that there would be no way to split up the vote of heidi and jenna, they are inseparable (sp?). He also knows that when it comes down to the final 4 and he doesnt win immunity 2 times in a row, there is no way he is goin to get to the final 2. Rob also knows that a snowball has got a better chance in hell that he does at beating alex in immunity. So he saw that he wouldnt be going far in that alliance. He then turned around and went with the other alliance which was the best move he could make. He joins that alliance and gets them all to vote off alex, heidi, and jenna. He then teams us with butcha and matt and take out christy. he'll then side with matt who will take out butch and he'll be in the final 2. doesnt neccesarily have to go this way, but he has got a HELL of a lot better chance at getting to the final 2 with this alliance than the other. He has a pretty good chance with the alliance with matt, butch, and christy and almost no chance with alex, heidi, and jenna. Smart move, but i still hate him.
I am not fressin, however, b/c i know rob will not win this game and i will bet on that. He has made FAR too many enemies by double crossing and stabbing everyone in the back. If jenna and heidi are the next to go, then that makes a jury of dave, deana, alex, heidi, and jenna. all people who either hate rob, or have been used by rob, or have been stabbed in the back by rob, or all 3. thats 5 votes right there that will go to ANYONE ELSE but rob. those 5 will definately vote for christy, butch, or matt over rob. again, rob is NOT going to win.
Now i did get to thinking, however, it might be wishful thinking. rob has obviously deserted heidi and jenna as u saw in the coming attractions, plus they are pissed at him for breaking the alliance. Now what i am hoping, b/c i want to see rob get the least amount of money that he could possibly get cause i hate him so much that coniving 2 face son of a ok calm down (hehe). What i hope happens is that jenna and heidi someone convince either matt, christy, or butch into voting off rob b/c he is a selfish, 2-faced, back-stabbing jerk. This is a possibility b/c the people left besided rob seem to all be decent honest people who might not want to see a snake like him get farther in the game. So there is the possibility that they could gang up on rob, then just say ok, free for all now once rob is gone. However, the only reason why i think this is wishful thinking is b/c i know christy hates those 2 girls and i think matt and butch dont like them much as well.
so we shall see. this survivor has been very good so far. a lot of twists and alliance shifts. made it very interesting! Dont be afraid to add!!

Ahhh crap, I forgot her name... Christy, shes gonna win. Survivor is rigged, and almost all other minorities have won except for a someone with disabilities. Thats my opinion at least, I think maybe thefirst 1 or 2 survivors were real, but afterwards, its rigged I tell ya!

My Prediction:
Matt has now realized how spinless Rob is. He is also very aware that Rob is likely the best one to goto the end with since nobody will like him.. Their alliance is still firm but Matt now holds all the power. Lets face it, Matt purposely lost immunity so that rob could have it; he did so knowing that NOBODY had a crush on him 
Jenna and Heidi are targets now; I'd say they are the next two to go provided Christie doesn't get freaked out about a guys vs gals game; I don't think it would turn out that way simply because she is very much a tom-boy. She has worked hard and gets along well with the guys.
After those two; Butch and Christie are targets because nobody wants to be in the final two with either of them (they'd lose).
In anycase probably one of the better survivors in my humble opinion. For awhile there I thought Matt was gone and it pissed me off because altho he looks crazy; he deserves the win the most; he is infact a true survivor; not a "game survivor".
My two bits! =)

Due to having the kids home today my normal analysis will be forgone instead replaced by quick blurbs.
Rob: Ten minutes into first show I said he was going to win. This guy is a true gamer, and I would have played the game _exactly_ the way he is playing. Remember, it's not about honor, it's about victory. And if he is playing both sides of the fence, remember that VERY few people have not played both sides of the fence, and mainly they were the dumber ones, Rudy from S#1 being the one exception. Now Rob is in a serious hole, and even though I have not analized the votes yet, I think his best bet to win is to keep Matthew in the game for the final vote. Personally, I think he should play the game to get 2nd place, 1st is going to be really tough because as past final votes has shown, most people vote stupidly or wholly by emotion, not by who played the best.
This past episode was probably the second or third best S. episode ever...I can't remember cheering as loudly when the final vote was tallied and seeing the smug look on prissy miss bathing suit's face turn to cow dung. It was definitely the class clown getting revenge on the popular kids. I've hated bathing suit girl from day one, think she's a horrible person, selfish, rude, mean, and I've called her the c-word in front of my wife and she agreed. That says something.
The food auction really shoved a rusty nail in my neck. Here's miss wonderful eating her peanut butter and choclate, and then the letters come up and Christy (her name is Christy right?) wins it. In interviews he goes on about how she DESERVES that letter. Ma'am, there were six other people there with enough money to give to you to out-bid Christy if they really cared. Also, if it meant that much, you could have offered your choclate you had half-eaten in return for a low bid to get the letter. This entire show she's treated Christy as a pariah and then she expects her to turn the other cheek? Christy never won a reward, she didn't get any food, and frankly, no woman on the show has said three words to her...think how you would like spending 30 days on an island where everyone else refused to communicate with you, how would you feel? Okay, I feel the rant monster :: smiles :: But who doesn't remember getting (dumped on) but the hoi toi crowd?
And what is the deal with Heidi? She's supposed to be attractive? I get sick every time I see her and bikini girl walk about like everyone should worship at their feet...they're thin and one of them has (poorly done) artificial breasts...they're not beautiful.

I wouldn't last 2 minutes on an island without decent food or shelter. I'd probably turn into a quivering wreck and soil myself. T
his Rob guy doesn't have many friends, he must be a total groin.

Au Contrere, Rob had many friends, in fact he had more relationship ties than anyone else on the island. As the game has developed though he has had to decide with every vote which ties to sever. Because his team-mate admitted when it came down to 4 people left, he was going to be #4, you couldn't rationally expect him to sit by and lose, could you? The funny thing now is even though everyone knows he's been playing both sides of the fence by now, he's still the swing vote.
He worked really hard and used his mind to get where he is. He definitely deserves the ring more than anyone else on his now-dead alliance.
