Quick Notes about CSR

In no particular order:
- There is more to the website than the forum. Go to www.csreloaded.com and poke around the Main Menu on the right-hand side of the site.
- The AWP is banned from CSR's game server. We don't want it and we don't allow it. This is our perrogative and it's they way the community at large likes it. This topic has been long debated, and the pro-awpers have never won. Take that as a hint. If you are caught using an AWP on CSR, you will be regarded as a cheater and/or hacker. Regardless, CSR does have some maps where there are AWPs on the ground. These maps are the exception to the rule, and using an AWP is acceptable.
- Default AdminMod access in-game is 0, not 1! A few immature and "rowdy" people ruined it for everybody because they thought it would be fun to constantly try to kick admins and chance the map to dust. As much as I hate to say it, we just couldn't let the general public have access to those commands without them being abused. This is not likely to change any time soon.
- CSR has a no swearing policy. In general, this means if you post something, say somthing through voice comm, or chat something in-game that you wouldn't say in front of a four-year-old kid or your grandmother we won't be happy with you. You are more than welcome to pound your desk or curse to yourself (with voice comm OFF). It should also be noted that attempting to bypass the in-game swear filter is just as bad as swearing on its own. The consequences for breaking this rule can be as severe as being banned from the server, though the occasional slip of the tongue will ususally be overlooked.
- If you have a suggestion for a Poll or a Vote you think affects the entire community, please PM one of the CSR Staff with your idea so we can announce it. You will be given credit if you wish.
- If you have a suggestion for a Quick Note (like the ones in this post) PM a Staff member about it so it can be added. Anything that a newcomer (or an old-timer) should really know about how CSR operates can be included. If it's a long topic, maybe you would prefer to write an article...
- If you would like to write an article for CSR, please contact one of the Staff members with your idea or a draft. We are anxious to have contributions from the community, and we will assist you in getting it "published" here as an article.
- If you would like to be an in-game admin (part of our Admin Team), please PM Father Ribs. We generally are looking for solid and responsible people who are active in the CSR community to help protect our game server. (Though right now we are not "looking" for anybody else.)
- CSR as a whole is run by a group of volunteers known as the CSR Staff.
- Funding to run the web and game servers is provided by both public and private donations. If you wish to contribute, please see our Donations page.
- The CSR game server is policed and protected by a group of nominated and invited individuals known as the Admin Team.
- Current CSR Staff Members are: Porter, Ryo-Ohki, MysterMachine, Father Ribs
- Current Admin Team Members are: (this list is "slightly confidential" to help our admins do their jobs more effectively.)
If anyone has a better idea for how to arrange or present these, please let me know. If you want to be in charge of maintaining these nuggets of information, also please let me know. Many ways of contacting me are listed to the left of this post under my namve and avatar.

Re: Potential admins: We're not actively seeking any at this time, though if you are intrested don't be afraid to PM me about it, as there is some turnover in admins and we do like to keep coverage on the server even.
