This poll doesn't have any effect on anything.
CSR will be going to Steam no matter what, and we all have to go with it.
We just wanted to see what people think of it.

Man we should try and give them some time to work on this.... Bear in mind they have never had 100,000 people on their system at once....
I hope they will be able to increase performance by reducing the amount of data that has to pass between the Steam servers and the client on startup. That would clear up a fair few problems with people waiting for ages for it to startup (like me too).
I think the Friends network is absolutely brilliant idea, and I hope they enable group chatting soon so everyone can get together before a game starts.

Don•t get me wrong it was a good idea but it has too many problems right know and I have bin looking forward on playing 1.6 and am getting very inpatient

I'm not even sure what the heck steam is even trying to do  ...it first off said that two of my e-mail addresses already had accounts  ....then it says that it has installed steam, but won't even start to download CS or HL yet... ?? Either way, the buddy list thingy is nice and all, but ummm...if I can't play, i'm not happy...
Whatever, I just want to play...

Yeah i had that happen too me too at first tenshi but then i got yahoo mail and signed up again under that and everything works peachy now...
